When we conceptualised our controversial Heinz spec ad last year - which makes a point of celebrating those audacious renegades that put ketchup on their Christmas dinner - we thought it might get people talking.
But we were utterly elated (and honoured) that the teams' suited-and-booted trip to The Drum Labs in Shoreditch last week saw us leave with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR dazzling Chips from The Drum Chip Shop Awards!
We bagged:
- Ad most likely to start a riot
- Best use of bad taste
- Best video
- And The Grand Prix for best overall entry!
Safe to say, it's proof enough that sometimes the simplest of ideas that avoid the obvious hard sell - and instead are brave enough to point out when a product might actually not be traditionally welcomed - can be the ones to get people talking.
