How old must I be to enter?

You must be aged between 16-23 on 19/01/25 to enter.

How do I submit my film?

You must upload your film to the link provided in your registration email. We will need the video file and not a link. If you experience technical difficulties uploading your film please email matchbox@gusto.film

Can I submit a film I've already made?

Absolutely! As long as it fits the brief (comfort).

How long should my submission be?

30 seconds.

Can my submission be longer or shorter than 30 seconds?

No, it should be exactly 30 seconds.

When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be announced at our awards night ceremony on 28th January at Park Village in London (NW1 7PX)

Can I use stock footage?

Yes, you can.

Can I work as part of a team?

Yes, but entries must be submitted on behalf of one individual.

Can I submit my film to other film festivals?

Yes you can, but only once the winners have been announced.

Can I submit more than one film?

Yes, as long as each submission is distinctly different.

Can I edit my submission after submitting?

No. All submissions will be final. Please make sure you are uploading the correct version of your edit before submitting.

Can my film be in a language other than English?

It can, but please include English subtitles.
