And who better to sing a brand's praises than the customers themselves? We know how crucial UGC and customer testimonials are for brands in the social media game. Take it that step beyond. Rocket fuel it. Think: case study videos speckled with customer chronicles and product/service deep-dives. Our job is to collaborate with our brand and agency brothers and sisters to decide how that should look. Whether it's a one off film, a short social series that touches on different topics, or even a mini-documentary (our favourite). Applying campaign-level thinking, we work with brands to suggest strategies such as A/B testing to ensure we work together to produce the right case study content that converts.
PRE-PRODUCTION
- Look at the campaign as a whole, look at what your KPIs are & what ROI you're aiming for
- Discuss delivery platforms and how to maximise them
- Are the social cuts going to be stand alone pieces of content or be used as a trailer for the full film? Or both?
- Schedule, script and storyboard social content into Production
- People love some BTS, we could interview your brand's team on set to talk through the campaign how it came about etc. Form a face to face bond between brand and viewer.
PRODUCTION
- Shoot in 8K so we have flexibility in the edit
- Shoot portrait and landscape
- Are we shooting on RED or does this lend itself to other options? Handycam or even a phone for example
- BTS again, make sure you get it!
POST-PRODUCTION
- Subtitles as no one has audio on anymore (except TikTok)
- Aspect ratio, delivery formats for certain platforms etc. (instagram doesn't like .mov)
- A good colour grade, is it going to pop on the grid
